On Saturday, July 12th, Red Truck Orchards is hosting "Cherry-Palooza" at Hallstedt Homestead Cherries. This uniquely cherry-centered lunch is curated by three-time James Beard award-winning Chef Jimmy Schmidt. An event celebrating all things cherries, Chef Schmidt will be showcasing the delightful power of both sweet and tart cherries in his recipes.

In addition to featuring fresh cherries, Chef Schmidt will be highlighting Red Truck Orchards' Cherry Vinegar! Our Cherry Vinegar offers a bright and smooth taste compared to apple cider vinegar, while retaining the natural antioxidants and anthocyanins found in cherries. Chef Schmidt will highlight our Cherry Vinegar in his beverages, dressings, and even a unique vinegar-based ice cream topping!

Chef Schmidt's menu will feature Angus Brisket Sliders, a variety of beverages, appetizers, salads, and his unique spin on Cherries Jubilee - see the attached for a detailed menu!

Each adult ticket also includes five lbs of U-pick cherries. Seating is limited, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets early!

Tickets for this exclusive Cherry-Palooza event will sell quickly (they were gone in five days last year!) The orchard will be closed to the public for this special occasion, so you won't want to miss it! The 1 ½ hour luncheon and U-pick experience will have two start times: 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
