We understand not everybody loves the taste of vinegar! And that's okay! This recipe is for you - you can still get your truckloads of antioxidants without the taste of vinegar. Submitted by one of our raving fans at Current Water Company in St. Clair Shores, MI (NE Detroit).
Ingredients
-
1 ½ cup cold filtered water
-
4 tbsp gelatin (the person making the recipe suggested not Jello)
-
1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice
-
½ cup Red Truck Cherry Vinegar
-
4-6 organic limes
-
Sweetener of choice to taste (we like honey!)
Directions
Combine ½ cup cold filtered water in a bowl
Sprinkle in 4 tbsp of gelatin (not Jello) to bloom for five minutes
In a medium saucepan, add cranberry juice, Red Truck Cherry Vinegar, juice from limes, rest of the water, and your sweetener of choice.
Heat to almost boiling - but don’t boil!
Add the bloomed gelatin and whisk like mad until there are no clumps.
Pour into your choice of bowls or dish
Note: adjust the flavor as you go, this recipe is tart. Also, you can use lemons or ginger water for a different flavor!
